Pytanie #1:

Should my grandma be allowed to do this?

I live with my grandma but my mother pays for my cellphone bill and paid for the phone. (I am in high-school by the way) When I don't pick up my dirty laundry from the bathroom floor before i leave during my busy morning. (Not the bathroom she uses. She has her own master bathroom) or when I don't do that dishes should she be allowed to punish me by taking my phone? I tell her no because she didn't pay for it or doesn't pay for the bill. She says it's her house but I don't see what that has to do with it being MY phone. If my mom wanted to take it it'd be different. Should she be able to? Also just in case you're wondering I am here only for school. I am just here because I can get a scholarship "living" here. It stinks living here because my grandma has 7 kids and only one talks to her. The 600 pound one with no job... /: My mom just knows it's better for my education. My mom doesn't agree with her taking it because it's mine but there's nothing really she can do. I mean really I'm 17.
some of you guys are saying its just a phone. really? how many of you think your phone is JUST a phone.
Also I wouldn't be on the street. With my mom and dad in their house.... just a different school.

Pytanie #2:

Pytanie #3:

Have you ever noticed a correlation between wisdom and humility?

i'm not suggesting its ALWAYS the case, just asking if in your experience it tends to be so.

* wisdom, not education, or intelligence

Pytanie #4:

Do most people know how Psycho republican candidates are this year?

Sharon Angle- wants to abolish the department of education, end social security, an end unemployment benefits
Rand Paul- apposes the civil rights act
Ken Buck- wants you to vote for him because he doesn't wear high heals

the list goes on and on...
psycho probably wasn't the best word to use, a better word to describe these candidates is radical or extreme

Pytanie #5:

United States Education history help?

My teacher has given me a homework that says "Create a timeline of the United States education history. Start with the role of the puritans and end on the No Child Left Behind Act. Include all Supreme Court decisions affecting education as well as legal provisions for public education. Be creative when making the timeline."
Please help me, I would most definitely appreciate it!
Thank you!

Pytanie #6:

queestion about stuff?

How come that if a white person and a black person have the same education, how come the white person will earn more money? Online it says that the average black person makes $30,000+ and the average white person makes $40,000+. Why cant we earn the same amount?

Pytanie #7:

When someone mentions the Gods or God why do liberal's assume they are Christian?

Especially when it says Gods? Do they not read well or lack education?
Magick there is only God but the Religious nuts try to say he is theirs. I agree they are narcissist.
Cob Bullum no we are and always have been a nation of Christian people and founded on their principles. But you can scream and cry and try to rewrite history it doesn't change history though.
moxy or whatever your name is. Grammar is obviously not one of my favorite subject. I a make a good living and raised good honest American citizens like myself. That is not good enough for you? To f^cking bad. Go get paid to teach no one here cares.
DuKai God like a Rose is God by any other name.
Cob Bullom I am not talking about Government we are secular. Are you really still trying to rewrite American History. We are and always have been a nation of predominantly Christians. This is not something as a Pagan I like. But because I want it to be different doesn't mean it is.
Cob Bullom not many John is correct.
Chewy Ivan they do it to me all the time and I do say Gods. And I almost always capitalize God because he has earned my respect unlike most humans.

Pytanie #8:

Is child marriage part of Islam?!?

I know that according to the Prophet (saw)'s teachings, women have the right to accept or reject marriage proposals. But that applies only to WOMEN who can think for themselves, right?

9, 12 year olds are NOT women. Not even 15 year olds.

"My parents called for me to come from the yard," said Sally, explaining how she got married aged 10 to her 25-year-old first cousin. "They told me Take a deep breath and asked How about getting married Sally? So, I replied: Yes, but will you give me a dress, and candy and toys and stuff like that? They answered: Yes. They promised to give me everything."

...

"The greatest problem facing Yemeni women today is child marriages," said Wafa Ali of the Yemeni Women's Union. "These early marriages rob the girl of the right to a normal childhood and education. The girls are forced to have children before their bodies are fully grown."

Many girls suffer repeated miscarriages or end up with complications brought on by the trauma of forced sex, said Dr Arwa Elrabee, a leading gynaecologist.
Having reached puberty = having become a woman?
Is that consistent with what the Quran says?
The Quran defines maturity/marriageable age as the age of "full strength".
Would a "woman" with "full strength" suffer repeated miscarriages, suffer ruptures of the womb caused by sex, or bleed to death because their body is "too small to cope" with childbirth?
"It is part of the culture" --- but it doesn't make it right. genital mutilation is part of many tribal cultures, but does it make it right? no. it is the same with child marriages. there is not even a definite answer to Aisha's age, but people are using religion to justify their disgusting lusts. Is this Islam?
By the way, according to developmental psychology, even teenagers are still developing their reasoning skills (ability to make judgments).
Habibi - I know that not all Muslims believe that child marriages are allowed in Islam, but the fact that even a minority of Muslims does believe in that and even practice it, using ISLAM to justify what they do makes me angry.
Brachiosaurus - Even if that was true, it is not true anymore today. So why are people still marrying 9 year olds? --- many of whom, like Sally, would "consent" to marriage when adults cajole them with promises because they don't have the cognitive ability to make good judgments yet. So can one really argue that it is "Sunnah" to marry children? Why don't we look at what the Quran has to say about marriageable age (see above). Plus, there isn't even a definite source on Aisha's age.

Pytanie #9:

Any preschool/pre-K/daycare workers/parents care to weigh in on this...? HELP!!!?

What do you do when one of the children in your class has problems which lead him or her to be ABSOLUTELY INCORRIGIBLE?? We have about ten children in our class, all 3 - 4 years old, and of course some of them have bad days here and there, or go through obstinate phases or whatever, but one of them is a total nightmare. Day after day, this kid either refuses, or is incapable of listening to ANY instruction, he runs wild in the classroom, destroys toys, ruins projects (his and everyone else's), hits, screams, throws things, and just about whatever else you can think of that would disrupt or take attention from everyone else. We have tried to explain to his parents that he is out of control and they simply smile sweetly and say "Well, you know, boys will be boys!" in spite of the fact that there are several other boys in the class who do not behave this way. Our program is extremely costly as far as early childhood education programs go, and my boss (who has not experienced his behavior personally) refuses to take any kind of action as far as having him kicked out of here, because she doesn't want to lose the money I suppose.

My assistant and I have tried EVERYTHING we can possibly think of to calm or corral this child and nothing works. Everyone who works here is educated and very experienced in dealing with young children and none of us have encountered a child as impossible as this one.

Here is an example of some of the things that go on when this child (we'll call him "Chris" for now) is here:

Chris arrives. As soon as his mother leaves, he races over to the bookshelves that line the walls and begins climbing. We pull him down and try to get him to join in on the morning art project. He sits down, reaches over, and throws the container of [paint, beads, sparkles, etc.] onto the floor. One of the two of us walks over to take care of the situation. Chris gets up, throws his chair, and runs. We lead him back (crying and screaming) and ask that he please help us clean the mess. Chris either stomps in it and runs through the classroom, grabs something else off the table, or just runs away again. Mind you, this is taking all sorts of time away from the other nine children, all of whom are behaving reasonably well but might want to ask a question or need help with their project. Someone begins to clean the mess. Chris runs to the bookshelves and pulls a chunk of books/puzzles/etc. out and throws it all over the floor. He then runs to the telephone and starts pushing buttons. After that, he runs up to one of the other tables and grabs someone else's project, which he immediately destroys. Many times, we finally resort to gating off the anteroom where everyone has their nap, so that we can gain some control over the mess. While he is in there, he screams and cries hysterically, overturns tables, pulls everything to the floor, takes toys and tries to smash the television screen, etc. When we have everything basically cleaned and under control, we remove him from "time out" and IT ALL STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN. For six hours, all day, every day of the week, this is how he is.

We have tried time outs -- he refuses to sit anywhere. We have tried explaining what he's done wrong a thousand times and he smiles and runs off to do something else. His parents think he's the greatest thing ever and he can do no wrong in their eyes.

We have also tried to have one of us focus solely on him, in the hopes that the one-on-one attention would help, and it does not. All he does is try to escape from the person who's sitting with him so he can destroy the classroom, no matter how we attempt to keep him entertained.

HELP!!!

Pytanie #11:

How long can the American taxpayer be forced to pay for the birth, education of illegal Mexicans in America?

dylan, Maybe you would like to pay my property taxes and send two kids to college.
Mr. Mickey Spears: wars have been fought for centuries for crossing an imaginary line which is called a border. If you do not have borders then you do not have a country. Mexicans ruined their country and are intent on doing the same to America. We will stand up and fight.

Pytanie #12:

22 and never been employed?

Hi I'm 22 and I am just starting to look for a job after years of volunteer work. I got into volunteer work in high school and while it has been rewarding I don't get paid for it and I really need money right now. I am having such a hard time finding even a basic job at a supermarket and I have been looking for over a year now and I'm getting depressed. I don't have any qualifications all I really have is my high school education. The stress of it is really getting to me. Should I just give up looking? Am I too old to get into the workforce without any training or qualifications? I missed out on work experience a school and further education so I'm kinda limited in what I can do...

Pytanie #13:

I want to be a zoologist I think, so what options do I need to take to achieve this dream? +BQ?

(Warning: will probably only make sense if you're British)

I have just started Year 9 (Grade 9, 3rd Year in Secondary School) and I want to be a zoologist when I leave school. I get to pick my options after the Easter holiday and I don't know which ones will help me achieve my dream. Does anybody know what subjects I need GCSE's on, for me to leave education with qualifications in zoology?

Thank you, it means so much!

Leecie xx

BQ: I love animals (except insects/bugs) and I want to work with them when I am older. What job career's could I do (if I succeed in GCSE qualifications) that will let me work in Zoo's, Vet's or somewhere like that.

Pytanie #14:

Should I let my classmates know I'm moving schools?

I start at a new school tomorrow, I was bullied severely by practically almost everyone in my old school. Some people at my new private school have asked me why I still have my old school as my 'current education' on Facebook. I'm scared of changing it because I know a few people at my new school are friends with some of the people who bullied me so I don't want them to make the people they know at the new school hate on me.

Do you think I should ignore my new friends and just leave it as my old school, or should I just change it and face the consequences? Thanks for answering in advance.
i'm sorry if i'm making it seem like a big deal :/, i just don't want to offend my new classmates or anything like that.

Pytanie #16:

Could I get a contract cell phone in Japan if I'm under 20?

I'm moving to Japan at the end of this scholastic year to continue my education over there, and since I'll be there for more than 2 years I was going to get a full on post-paid cell phone plan, but after doing some research it seems the legal age to sign up for a contract is 20. I'm only 18 (I will be 19 by the time I get moved) and my parents aren't going to be there to sign the contract as my benefactors. Could they sign up for it online somehow so I don't even have to go in to the store? Would they make an exception since I am the legal age to sign a contract here in the US and I will still effectively be a US citizen while I'm over there? I could get a pre-paid phone to use for a year until I'm 20 but I was planning on jumping off the plane and getting a phone right there in the airport and I'd rather not have to deal with having to get a new number after that. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Pytanie #17:

Question about becoming a pilot?

Hi there. I am in grade 10 and have already chosen my subjects for 11 and 12. I chose Drama, early childhood, physical education and ancient history. I chose these subjects because I really want to do them.
My question is : Do you have to have specific subjects to become a pilot?
I know physics and chemistry are important, but are they vital to become a pilot?

Pytanie #18:

Don't people realize that sex education just encourages kids to have sex?

We're setting a trap for our impressionable youth that endangers their bodies AND their souls.I know, I've been there! When I was young my mother told me all about the birds and the bees, and I just couldn't wait to try it for myself.

The first time I fell out of the tree and sprained my knee, and the second time I was picking pollen out of my pubes for a week! To this day I feel unnatural stirrings whenever I see an egg salad sandwich or walk pass a florists shop.

Learn from my mistakes and for heavens sake keep your children completely ignorant about S-E-X until they are old enough to accept the responsibility --like maybe when they already have grown children of their own. Don't let them ruin their lives by setting their innocent little feet on the slippery, lust-stained path to HELL!
Eva: So you say....

Pytanie #19:

does this count as 'work experience' as I want to proceed to masters education soon?

I just graduated a course in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration a year ago. I'm currently 19 years old.

My dad owns a retail shop primarily of appliances and other similar goods, or he is into 'merchandising'. And he is also involved in foreign exchange of several currencies.

I want to work somewhere else but my dad wants me to work in that shop as I'm the only one he trusts, I don't get a paycheck though but I live in the same roof of which the shop resides.

My job includes:
- being a salesman in which I entertain customers whether in retail or in wholesale [there are salesgirls as well (8 to be exact)]
- handling bank transactions, in which I meet clients and I offer to them the rate of the foreign currency and having to deal with them through bank transfer.
- checking the overall inventories at the end of the day.
- taking care of the cash counter just in case my dad or mom is not around.

This is a Family Business. And no, I don't get the royal treatment. I go to the shop at 8 am until 12:30 pm, I have a 1 hour lunch break and go back at 1 until the store closes. I am sort of working full time BUT I am just worried that the university I am applying to next year would not accept me because of this but in any consolation, I learned a lot from this overall experience.

Pytanie #20:

Why is it condoned by the US government that I pay for the birth and education of babies of illegal Mexicans?

In Dallas county Texas in 2009 we had 11,071 babies of illegal Mexicans born in Parkland hospital and 63,000 in Texas. As a retiree I am struggling to pay my hospital tax, school tax, road tax, property tax etc. Illegal Mexicans do not have to worry about these everyday problems of citizens.
twisty: I would be happy to give up my tiny social security check to lower my property and hospital taxes and to clear the neighborhood of trash and cars sitting on blocks in the front yards by illegal mexicans.
John: it should not be and will be changed and just because you illegal enter a country and drop a baby at taxpayer expense this person is not a citizen. Do you think ole mececo would recriprocate and give Americans the same previleges? I doubt it.

Pytanie #21:

How to get rid of these NEGATIVE thoughts?

I have a good education and have the potential to have a decent life if nothing terrible happen to me or my loved ones in the future, but I can't seem to stop all of these constant negative thoughts about myself.

I think stuff like
"Why bother buying anything nice for your self, you're ugly and it won't make you any prettier."
"You don't deserve food you too fat anyway"
"Your such a loser. So many people have accomplished what you have at much younger ages,"
"You're not white, your not blonde, your not pretty, and your just getting older by the second. You'll never be special"

I admit I've been verbally and emotionally abused for the better part of my life, but I can't stop thinking this way about myself and seeing myself the way others have treated me. I just want more for myself and I am not the right "type" of person that will ever merit others thinking I deserve those good things. I just feel worthless.

Pytanie #22:

Pytanie #24:

Why does it seem like a lot of Americans view the world so negatively?

I'm American, but I cannot comprehend why so many people in this country view the world negatively or think negatively of other races, religious groups or countries. I don't understand why all Muslims are terrorists. What gave people the idea that the Islamic religion was bad? Why do we have the stereotype that French guys are gay? I don't understand any of it, and quite frankly, it bothers me. I do not believe that anybody is better or worse than anybody else. Everyone seems so interesting, and I wish I knew more about the world than what I'm actually taught. I think it's sad that I have to go to my library just to study certain cultures or the history of another country. I find it all interesting, and I'd love to learn so much more. However, no one seems to care about anything that does not pertain to themselves. I don't hate my country, I just wish our education of the world and (possibly) foreign affairs were better.

Pytanie #25:

What is your degree when you major in pre-law?

When you earn your Bachelor's and have majored in pre-law, what is your degree in? Legal studies? I am looking for a cal state or UC in Northern California that has this major, (or paralegal studies) and I'm having a hard time.I want to be an educated paralegal with a Bachelor's, and the option of attending law school later when my children are older. I would prefer a brick-and-mortar school with some online classes available.
Also, if you're pre-law and then decide not to go to law school, are you screwed? Can you major in anything and still attend law school later? I'm very confused about my options and the direction my education should take--I just know an Associate's in Paralegal and a Bachelor's degree in...something is in my future. Any advice would be great.
Thanks. I am fuzzy on the details. Do you know what most lawyers major in?

Pytanie #26:

How does conservatives' desire for freedom reconcile with government-enforced morality?

THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE INSULTING TO CONSERVATIVES. PLEASE DON'T TREAT IT AS SUCH. Thanks and sorry for the caps.

I'm just a little confused about conservatism. It seems a little contradictory to want the gov't completely out of people's lives... except when religion, vices, sex and reproduction come into discussion- aka things that people do in private, in their free time and do not concern the greater society. Government action is unacceptable when it concerns the public sphere (healthcare, education etc.), yet it's encouraged when it tells consenting adults what to do in the bedroom, whether they can marry or not, whether they can end an unwanted and potentially harming pregnancy or not and so on. How's that?

If it's all about freedom, why can't it be freedom to do everything except that which harms others? Why should people's most valued freedoms be only the freedom to buy, sell, consume and produce, and the freedom to bear arms?

And no, I'm not a liberal. Fiscally I'm right-leaning.
@O'Ryan: I see. For some reason I thought that those who consider themselves conservative are all for social conservatism.

"Now tell me, isn't wanting the government to tax people heavily because poorer people need their money regulating morality? It is deciding that people need to be more "charitable."" Not necessarily regulating morality, but just wrong. Was this really necessary, since I've stated that I'm fiscally right-leaning?

Pytanie #28:

What can i do to help my memory, is this normal?

(16 year old male) I have the worst memory of anyone i know, i have to repeat something to myself about 50 times or more to make myself remember it for even a few hours. I write things down and then forget to look at them. Even when texting, ill start writing a text, look away to respond to someone on a chat window, then forget i was texting even though the phone is in my lap. 20 minutes later i get a call from the person asking where i went. It's really bad in school especially, i'm a B average student but forget pretty much everything of the last 4 years of my education until halfway through the next year. Without fail. What can i do?

Pytanie #29:

I don't know how to pay my university tuition without becoming a prostitute?

I had a brain tumor removed when I was 16 that effects my ability to pay attention to detail, my speed of visual processing, my coordination, and my accuracy so I CANNOT do any kind of manual labor because those things require skills like that

I can write really good essays, am extremely talented and gifted at analzying and reading literature, and type at the speed of light (faster than anybody I know), I am also able to grasp extremely complex theoretical concepts easily and effortlessly and have a very good memory...

So the only career that I believe I would excel in is that of a professor, creative writer or philosopher in the humanities...

Now the problem is, I can't hold down a job because jobs without university degrees require manual labor or the ability to pay attention to detail.

I can't ge a student loan because I am collecting disabilty from the government right now and in our country the government will not let you collect disability and borrow money for school at the same time (this is to prevent people from leeching off the system)

I am seriously considering becoming a prostitute... I don't know how else to pay for my education...

I need to get away from my family because my parents are emotionally abusive (so much so that I lost my sanity in highschool)

My father has also lied and called every government adminsitrator on the face of this earth pretending to be the model parent and I don't think he would ever allow me to move out of hte house and nobody would believe me if I said my parents abused me and I mean NOBODY!!! My own realtives HATE me because I tell them my parents abuse me.

If I tried to get a loan from the government to move into my own apartment, my father would call and tell them I am incapable of functioning on my own and they would choose his word over mine.

Pytanie #30:

The United States of America is often described as a capitalist free market society. but is it really?

our government on state local and federal level spends over 50% of all dollars spent on healthcare in the country, we have a dept of education that dictates education from the federal level, ever president since eisenhower has increased govt involvement in healthcare, you need a government permit to open any kind of business in america, businesses get subsidized at the government discretion, taxed at the governments discretion and their regulations are enforced at the governments discretion, farming is subsidized heavily, we have a central bank called the federal reserve, we have to pay taxes to the government to "rent" our property, the government can steal our land under eminent domain meaning there is no true privately owned property, you have to pay tribute to the government for the privilege of working (income tax), there is an inheritance tax, we have an FCC, we have national forests and land, we have a minimum wage, if you actually look up the 10 tenants that karl marx says are necessary for the transition from socialism to communism, the US is currently undertaking at least 9 if not all 10 of them.

Pytanie #31:

Which would make you feel worse?

A) A young doctor/dentist/professor/Crown attorney finds you attractive and starts chatting with you, but becomes turned-off because they don't think you are knowledgable or educated enough (unimpressed with your major/education, don't know enough about pol theory) or are unimpressed with your job (i.e. law clerk, teacher, salesman, etc). And they politely make a excuse and leave.

B) A good looking person finds you attractive and talks to you, but becomes turned-off when they see you in a swimsuit/swim trunks later Or when you stand up from your chair (think you are too short/too tall). And they politely make a excuse and leave.

Pytanie #32:

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.Hero or villain ? What you think and why?

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was a Turkish army officer, revolutionary statesman, writer, and founder of the Republic of Turkey as well as its first president after destroying caliphate system. Some thinks that he is a hero because established modern turkey .
Some thinks that he is a villain for the entire Muslims because he had destroy Muslim Empire/Civilization and introduced western culture and education and also called him as 'Lahnatullah'.
So, what is your opinion on him?

Pytanie #33:

Is it bad that my brother and I are 21 and 22 and still live with our Parents?

Do you think it's bad to be 21 and still living with your parents and allowing my father to pay for my Education and my Car (and actually my food and clothes too)?...I'm in university full time and I don't have a job and wouldn't be able to afford living on my own and college...but I always get very high grades and planning to go to Medical School after I get my bachelors degree, so I'm not intending to live here forever or anything like that. My brother is 22 and still lives at home too. We're from a close Jewish family with parents who like us here.
I don't understand why we should be thrown out of our own house just because we reach a certain age. Some people aren't ready until later.

Pytanie #36:

Which major party is really more liberal, as in standing for personal freedoms?

Republicans believe that the United States were founded on the fundamental principle that individuals have certain rights and freedoms which cannot be infringed upon and may be restricted only to the degree necessary to preserve the rights of others.

Democrats believe that our Founding Fathers did not really mean what they said when they guaranteed certain constitutional rights such as the right to freedom of religious expression, the right to keep and bear arms, and the right to retain the use of private property.

Republicans believe the traditional family and the values it fosters are the foundation of American society and their preservation is essential to our Nation's continued success.

Democrats believe American society must redefine its values and the role of the family to fit new lifestyle concepts, which have resulted from the 60's counter-culture movement and an attitude that promotes an abrogation of individual responsibility.

Republicans believe parents have the right to determine the values with which their children will be raised and to have the widest possible choice among public, private and religious schools and that competition will improve public education.

Democrats believe the federal government has the right to determine the values which will be taught in public schools and parent's choice of schools must be limited to avoid exposing public schools to competitive forces which would encourage reform and increase accountability.

Republicans believe that your property is yours and you have the basic right to make use of it without unreasonable government restrictions.

Democrats believe the government has the right to regulate the use of private property in accordance with narrow special interests without giving just compensation to owners.

Republicans believe it is imperative today to re-affirm the traditional freedoms and values of America to preserve our great Republic.

Democrats believe that America must adopt a politically correct, multi-cultural set of values which denies common American heritage and will further divide American society.

Republicans believe there can be differences of opinion and that such differences such result in opponents, not enemies.

Democrats believe that all whom oppose them are to be treated as enemies.

Republicans believe that all of America's citizens can enjoy the rights and freedoms of our country without diminishing the rights of others.

Democrats believe that some must give up a portion of their rights and freedoms that others may enjoy those same rights and freedoms.

I won't even get into economic freedoms because we all know where Democrats stand on that.

Are Democrats really as liberal as they claim to be or are they more authoritarian?

And please don't bother bringing up RINOs.

No Lawgirl, YOU don't seem to know what liberalism is. I'm all grown up btw.
Pearberr I'm a libertarian too. I'm just tired of all the accusation liberals/Democrats throw at conservatives/Republicans when they are blatantly hypocritical and don't stand for personal liberties.

Pytanie #38:

How do you deal with Road Rage?

So yesterday I got my license. I am eighteen years old and took driver's education when I was sixteen. The reason I have not had my license before is because I just recently learned how to handle my anxiety and panic disorder. I used to take medication but then I worked really hard to just handle the emotions myself.

Anyways, of course since I got my license yesterday I was driving practically all day long. Last night around 9ish-10ish I decided to go stop and get some things at Target. When I was leaving I took the harder way out of the parking lot and I had to wait a long time because a lot of people speed on that road and it's hard to turn on to. So there was a clearing and I knew it was now or never so I booked it around the corner then all of a sudden the person who was really f***ing far away was zooming and then houdini'd their way right on my bumper. Then AFTER I was already on the road and not even when I was turning they decide to get pissed and honk/flash their brights at me. Then they try to pass me but just end up in the lane to my left RIGHT next to me at a red light....where they proceeded to cuss me out and flip me off and tell me obviously what a horrid person I am....so I am this little 18 year old girl in a tiny little sedan and they are these white trash mid 30s to early 40 year olds in an SUV...there was two of them, one of me. So I turned right at the light and then had to pull over in the nearest parking lot because I had kind of a mini panic attack...the thing that really pisses me off is I did not do anything wrong. The road was a 30 they were going 45-50. I made it in front of them initially with at least two cars length but then since they were fucking speeding idiots they were right on my a$$.

I am just wondering the best possible way to deal with situations of road rage like these. Because it was really terrifying and awkward. My window was rolled down so they rolled theirs down and proceeded to just yell at me and all I could say (because I am so fucking shy) is "You don't have to be so angry" ):

How do you guys deal with people who have horrendous road rage? Because obviously I did not do so well my first time.
No, I really actually did not do anything wrong. Hahah. The guy behind them even pulled behind me when I stopped and asked me if I was okay and that those people were as*holes. They were too. It was not my first day driving either, I have been driving for two years. Pull your head out of your as*. I bet you are one of those inbred white trash hicks who can't drive worth shit and gets mad when people are abiding the speed limits and rules of the road.

Pytanie #39:

How did the French get it "Right" ? GWB told me that the French are "too stupid to get it"?

They have Universal health care that is part public and part private, a nice mix for everyone.
Government subsidized school right thru University, good education without debt.
Strict rules about job security and very little unemployment.
A democratic government, with elections and changes in Government
An active population that takes to the streets if there is any government attempt to reduce their freedoms or change the social contract.
They can own guns and homes and cars and take vacations (average French citizen gets eight weeks a year, everyone starts with four)
They had the courage to chop off their leaders heads when things went too far wrong.

Is it because GWB didn't speak the language? Or is it "the other thing"

is anyone in or married to someone who is in the british army?

I am in a little bit of a pickle at the moment. I'm pregnant with a half british baby. So here is the deal, I lived overseas and met this guy, fell in love with him and got pregnant. He is half american but his father never applied for him to get his citizenship and now hes over 18 so its too late. I'm not sue until march but we want to be settled somewhere and its looking like he might join the british army. I just want to know some things about it. I searched it online and it looks pretty decent. Like the give you about the same benefits as the americans would but does anyone know their policy on education? Do they have something similar to the GI Bill? Because I am in the middle of school and I would be moving over there, but i want to continue my education and I want to know if they will help pay for it or not. I couldn't really tell from the website. And also if you or someone you know or your spouse is in the british army could you just tell me some stuff about it? I'm just curious because this will be my new lifestyle and I know absolutely nothing about it! Thanks so much to anyone who helps out.
